No. Redemption is partial by design. A P500 card used on a P120 order leaves P380 on the card, and that balance is available on the next order — on any Areye service, not just the one you started with.
Yes. The code identifies the card; the PIN authorises the spend. Anyone who has both can spend the balance, so treat the PIN like cash and only share it with the person you bought the card for.
No. Areye gift cards are non-refundable and are not exchangeable for cash. That is a condition of purchase, so please choose the amount deliberately.
Contact us with your purchase reference and the email you bought it with. We can re-send the code to the original recipient address. For security we never re-issue a PIN over the phone.
Buy in the currency the card will be spent in — BWP for Botswana, ZAR for South Africa. Cards are not converted between currencies after issue.
Across Areye rides, parcel and cargo deliveries, and at merchants on the Areye network who accept gift cards at checkout. The list of participating stores grows as merchants join.
Merchants on Areye Business can mint their own gift cards and reward coupons through the API — staff incentives, customer make-goods, seasonal promotions, or cards sold at your own till. Codes and one-time PINs come back in the issuance response, and every redemption is reconciled against your wallet.
Areye gift cards are redeemable across Areye services and participating stores. They are non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash. A card must be activated before it can be spent, the PIN is required at redemption, and any remaining balance stays on the card until it is used or the card expires.
